The Coeur d'Alene Resort is known for thoughtful touches—and our in-house bakery plays a big part in that. We're looking for a talented Baker who takes pride in their craft and enjoys creating fresh, high-quality pastries and breads that make a lasting impression.
You'll be part of a small, focused team that values precision, consistency, and creativity behind the scenes. This is a hands-on role in a high-volume kitchen, perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings and the rhythm of a well-run bake line.
Job Basics:
+ Location: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
+ Schedule: Full-time; early morning shifts required
+ Experience: Previous baking experience preferred
+ Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
What You'll Do:
+ Prepare and bake a variety of goods including breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and pies
+ Mix doughs, prepare fillings, and glaze pastries with care and consistency
+ Decorate cakes using basic techniques (or more advanced if experienced)
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
+ Ensure every baked item meets quality and presentation standards
+ Follow food safety and storage guidelines
+ Use baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proof boxes
+ Rotate baked goods to keep everything fresh and appealing

+ Solid knowledge of baking techniques and recipes
+ Strong attention to detail and a sense of timing
+ Good math skills for adjusting batch sizes or recipes
+ Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced kitchen
