    Description:

    Heartland AEA has a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant position available based out of the Carroll office serving students in the Audubon and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton Community School Districts. The number of working days for this position is 185. This position will assist in providing certain language, articulation, voice and fluency activities as assigned by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. This will also include documenting student progress, scheduling activities, participating in research and preparing data displays. The hourly pay range for this position will be $17-$25, depending on experience and qualifications.

    Qualifications:

    Qualified candidates must have a high school degree, or equivalent and competence in using technology for documentation, collaboration, and service delivery. Prefer candidates with a degree in Education or Speech-Pathology, communication disorders, or education from a recognized training institution or enrollment in a SLP program. Passion for working with children and youth required.
