• Junior Laboratory Associate (Blau Lab)

    The Blau lab at NYU’s Department of Biology is looking for a Junior Laboratory Associate for a 1-year appointment starting June 15, 2025.

     

    Responsibilities will include experimental design and data acquisition, presenting at lab meeting, lab upkeep and may include training new lab members.

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,656 . New York University considers factors such as the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a BS in Biology or a related field and 2 years of research experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Drosophila genetics, larval Drosophila brain dissections, confocal imaging, FACS and assaying circadian behavior.
