    CNC Machine Operator (Night Shift)

    Type: Full‑Time, Day Shift (6:00pm–6:00am, varying nights)

    Pay: $19.00 – 23.00/hr

    QAD is searching for full-time, night shift operators of our CNC Swiss Style Lathe, and CNC Mill Machines to join our growing team.

    Responsibilities

    + Learn, comprehend, and understand mechanical blueprints

    + Learn calibration procedures and how to use digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools as needed

    + Perform part inspections with a high level of attention to detail

    + Perform scheduled maintenance plans for all machines

    + Keep work areas safe, productive, and clean

    + Support a team approach with a strong work ethic

    + Work varying schedules, which may include day or night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays

    Qualifications

    + Ability to learn and apply mechanical blueprint reading and precision measurement

    + Great attention to detail for accurate part inspections

    + Ability to move up to 70 lbs. independently

    + Fanuc control experience is a plus

    + CNC mill or CNC screw machine operation experience is a plus

    + Wire EDM operation experience is a plus

    + Willingness and flexibility to work on varying schedules, including potential shift work and holidays

    + Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
