The role you will contribute:
The Instructional Designer will support the learning design and deployment of learning programs, including face-to-face delivery, action learning, course platforms, e-learning courses, videos, virtual Instructor-Led training (vILT), and other learning products. The Instructional Designer works under the direction of the Senior Manager of Quality, Audit, & Training Education with frequent guidance and collaboration with Revenue Cycle Managers of Quality, Audit, & Training and the Project Management team in support of Revenue Cycle projects. Under of the guidance of the Senior Manager, the Instructional Designer partners with Revenue Cycle leaders to create instructional design training materials, collaborating with partners and across the enterprise, and designing and developing learning solutions. This position will develop content to support the curriculum as directed including (with/without course authoring tool), job aids, quick reference guides, user manual and other relative training resources as indicated. Individual will also facilitate training sessions using materials created in a variety of training delivery methods as needed.

• Design, develop, and deliver instructionally sound (Addie; SAM) learning solutions (web-based and instructor-led courses, videos, assessments, documents, etc.) leveraging an instructional systems approach and relevant learning theory.
• Communicate with and inform the Senior Manager of Quality, Audit, & Training Education regarding the development of learning solutions and established timelines and expectations.
• Operate within a cross-functional team of readiness resources to formulate plans and activities to support change initiatives and ensure successful implementations.
• Utilize software and tools (Office 360, Articulate 360, Captivate, Kahoot! Adobe Creative Cloud, SnagIt, etc.) in the development of learning programs.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to incorporate creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches into new and existing learning products.
• Partner with internal clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as a learning and development expert to design, develop, and implement instructional solutions.
• Manage task completion based on established project plans to ensure learning solutions are developed and implemented on time and to established expectations.
• Leverage effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal clients, SMEs, and other team members to design, develop, and implement learning solutions.
• Ensure training environments are available to support development of learning solutions.
• Perform quality tests to ensure all learning solutions are working as intended.
• Complete administrative tasks per established expectations (updating project plans, status reports, maintenance of learning solutions, pulling reports, etc.).
• Facilitate (ILT, webinars, VILT, etc.) learning solutions.
• Role may require up to 25% travel throughout year.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or related field
• 3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle
• 2 years of experience in instructional design, developing and delivering learning methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology or related field.
• 5 years' experience in in Revenue Cycle
• 5 years' experience in instructional design, developing and delivering training
• CPLP
• Presentation Skills Certificate, ATD
• ATD Master Trainer
