Manage all processes related to FIR and Supplier Warranty Recovery, and provides support for purchasing, suppliers, supply chain, sourcing, cost, and contract authoring. Manages IT enhancement, automation, and AI projects for future state solutions.

What you will do:

+ Manage all FIR/RC processing for supplier warranty recovery

+ Ensure all warranty terms for executable contracts are setup in the system

+ Develop plans for IT solutions, automation, and AI enhancement projects

+ Manage future state requirements for web-interface/PROcure functionality; strong innovation skills using future technology

+ Manage all supplier and invoice grief resulting from the FIR process

+ Support data analytics and adhoc reporting requirements for all procurement verticals

+ Build data maps and standard work processes for all manual/automated processes

+ Work with local IT resources on maintaining and supporting all processes

Degree Requirement

+ A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Digital Technologies, Data Analytics, or a related technical field

+ Proven ability to lead medium to large-scale IT and automation projects from planning through execution.

+ Experience gathering stakeholder input, defining scope, and delivering value in fast-paced, evolving environments.

+ Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, including data automation and analytics strategy development for procurement verticals.

+ Strong organizational skills and accountability in driving innovation and continuous improvement.

**Procurement:** Knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and practices, and use tools for buying goods, supplies, equipment and services needed to conduct business.

+ Works with the procurement of services, materials or equipment.

+ Follows established procedures, documentation requirements and approval level requests to conduct procurement activities.

+ Interprets benefits, issues and considerations of using e-procurement.

+ Uses available procurement systems and tools in transactions with approved suppliers.

+ Assists in reviewing the fulfillment of administrative and documentation requirements for the completion of purchase.

**Knowledge of a Specific Procurement System:** Knowledge of the features, functions and operations of a specific procurement system; ability to develop and use tools, techniques, and practices for a specific procurement application.

+ Hands-on experience with Oracle procurement modules and Snowflake environments.

+ Ability to manage and enhance stored procedures in Oracle databases using SQL.

+ Experience building technical requirements for procurement tools such as the PROcure module and AI agents like Sidekick.

+ Capability to coach others on system usage and troubleshoot complex issues.

**Purchasing Tasks and Activities:** Knowledge of policies, regulations and processes of purchasing; ability to use practices and procedures for procurement of materials, components, equipment and services.

+ Understanding of supplier warranty recovery processes and contract execution.

+ Experience ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and documentation standards.

+ Familiarity with the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including administrative and transactional tasks.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

+ Strong experience working with Oracle/Snowflake/SQL databases

+ Prior SQL/Python/Snowflake coding experience

+ Experience leading IT projects with a track record of delivering value

+ Good understanding of the supplier warranty recovery process and contract execution

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership

+ Initiative, leadership, good judgement, effective organization skills, and accountability

+ Ability to resolve issues independently and with worldwide / diverse teams.

+ Ability to take an Enterprise point of view and lead with our Values in Action.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
