Overview
We’re looking for a **Copywriter** to craft thoughtful, intuitive digital experiences through compelling, user-centered language—primarily in the website and digital product space. You’ll collaborate with creative leads, experience designers, content strategists, and cross-functional teams to craft copy that serves both user needs and business goals. With a great foundation in digital experience principles and a passion for language that drives clarity and action, you’ll add to the development of seamless, impactful experiences for some of today’s most recognizable brands.
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
+ Write clear, concise, and compelling UX copy that enhances usability, guides users, and reinforces brand voice across web and digital products
+ Evaluate and refine existing copy across digital touchpoints for clarity, consistency, and alignment with user-centered practices
+ Collaborate with experience and visual designers to shape intuitive user flows and page layouts, with an eye on both content structure and hierarchy
+ Translate complex requirements into user-friendly messaging across forms, CTAs, navigation, error states, and transactional flows
+ Partner with content and creative leads to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives, technical constraints, and tone-of-voice guidelines
+ Contribute to the creation of decks and annotated artifacts to guide implementation by design and development teams
+ Present copy solutions to internal teams and clients with clarity and rationale rooted in effective UX writing and accessibility
+ Manage version control across projects, tracking edits, feedback, and approvals in a structured and efficient way
+ Work within or adapt to existing design systems and content frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms
+ Demonstrate strong attention to detail
+ Participate in team brainstorms, critiques, and collaborative working sessions
+ Contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive team dynamic by communicating clearly and offering constructive feedback
Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of experience writing for web-based products or transactional digital experiences, ideally within a cross-disciplinary digital agency or product team
+ Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
+ A portfolio showcasing strong UX writing, including product copy, web flows, error messages, CTAs, navigation, and transactional messaging
+ Solid understanding of UX and accessibility principles, and how language supports user goals and behavior
+ Demonstrated experience collaborating with experience designers, strategists, developers, and project managers on cross-functional teams
+ Experience editing for grammar, tone, style, and consistency across digital assets
+ Familiarity with writing alt-text and accessible content for screen readers and assistive technologies
+ Experience writing in structured copy decks or annotation tools and managing feedback in iterative workflows
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and timelines
