Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Pump Mechanic to perform the disassembly and reassembly of Deepwell Vertical Pumps

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Disassemble and reassemble Deepwell Pumps according to specifications and company standards.

+ Conduct thorough inspections of pumps

+ Clean, repair, and replace parts as necessary to ensure optimal pump performance.

+ Perform precision measurements and alignments during reassembly.

+ Will be trained and sent on service calls to troubleshoot/repair various equipment.

+ Maintain an accurate record of all work performed, including parts used and time spent.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Deepwell Pumps

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

+ Proficient using hand and power tools and precision measuring tools

+ Good problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

+ Good communication skills

+ Must be committed to quality workmanship.
