What you'll do…
+ Generate plant warranty reports.
+ Populate BSAQ documentation within the BSAQ system for plant quality items.
+ Drive adherence of PTP and FAP procedures related to quality.
+ Lead Variation Reduction Meetings with cross functional team
+ Active participant in all commodity PRT and PQR meetings. Will champion projects to reduce variability
+ Author and drive 8D’s to closure for external and internal quality concerns, including data evidence to validate each action, data to validate actions sustained.
+ Leverage your Six Sigma methodology to problem solve, and close 8D’s appropriately.
+ Coach the plant team on understanding of Quality Lean Maturity Model requirements.
+ Lead plant on lean maturity model gap closure.
+ Use creativity and recognitions, to address and drive fast gap closure and results.
+ Update the Quality Control Center to leverage it in a way that is meaningful to our plant’s goals.
+ Run JD Power quality reports once per quarter for plant, generate bullseye and communicate data out to ZCC leads.
+ Lead meetings for continuous improvement external and internal quality actions.
+ Investigate feasibility of innovative technology solutions for external and internal quality concerns
+ Document innovations from ideation to adoption within the traction system.
+ Evoke a culture of recognition within plant actively and authentically.

+ Six Sigma Green Belt Verified, Black Belt Preferred
+ High school diploma
+ Quality experience preferred
Even better, you may have...
+ Experience with GSAR warranty system
+ Understanding and knowledge of PTP and FAP procedures related to plant quality operating system
+ Experience populating and utilizing BSAQ system
+ Experience authoring 8D and driving to closure sustained actions with evidence
+ Knowledge of Quality Lean Maturity Model and scoring criteria, able to coach to the LMM standard needed for perfect score
+ Understanding of Quality Control Center, Daily Quality meeting, Sub Team meeting as method to communicate External and Internal quality status and actions to all employees
+ Familiarity of JD Power data base used to generate best in class data for plant quality
+ Demonstrated Leadership skills to drive results of a cross organizational team
+ Led innovation initiatives which have driven continuous improvement for a plant, or improved quality metrics
+ Familiarity of Traction Innovation system, to track and document continuous improvement and results
+ Six Sigma green belt verification is a minimum selection criteria, Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
+ Embrace servant leadership style, quality is a service department for our plant.
+ Curious to seek and find innovations VEPC can apply, find best practice replications to apply
+ Share with suppliers and drive innovations to their processes.
+ Knowledge of SPDQS system in order to coach suppliers
+ Experience working with incoming suppliers preferred
