This role in summary
We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift. **_You must submit a resume to be considered for this position._**
You will be required to perform all maintenance functions (electrical, mechanical & tooling) in and around the plant campus to install, maintain and repair the production and facility equipment. Support maintenance projects, World Class Manufacturing pillar projects, preventative maintenance, work orders, emergency work orders and kaizens.
Your responsibilities will include
+ Plan for, prepare and install equipment and utilities
+ Troubleshoot down equipment, find cause, and make necessary repairs
+ Perform robot automation handling/basic program touch-ups/troubleshooting (Fanuc/Kuka)
+ Perform work on CNC equipment (Fanuc/Chiron/Kitamura/Hardinge/Wasino/Amada)
+ Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other control components
+ Read schematics and equipment drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)
+ Utilize resources to troubleshoot problems such as OEM support lines, the internet, manuals etc.
+ Prepare, complete and record work orders, PM data, equipment histories and other maintenance data
+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all facilities and production equipment
+ Utilize WCM methodology by creating EWO’s, SMP’s, MPI’s and driving completion of Kaizen’s
+ Assist or fill in for other employees as directed
+ Observe plant and safety rules at all times
+ Maintain a neat and orderly workplace
+ Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed
Minimum requirements
+ Must currently hold a Journeyman’s card or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance
+ Proven ability to contribute to a team atmosphere with the following skills:
