UNC Chapel Hill Internal Medicine is looking for a part-time Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) to work 20–24 hours per week.

UNC Chapel Hill Internal Medicine is a multi-specialty practice that provides a broad spectrum of services for adult patients. As a patient, you receive 24/7 coverage through access to on-call physicians and partnership with our sister practice, UNC Urgent Care.

**Services** :

• Cardiology

• Diabetes education

• Echocardiography

• Gastroenterology

• Internal Medicine

• Nutritional counseling

• Colonoscopy screening

• Stress tests

• Health maintenance exams for acute and chronic conditions

**Practice Hours** :

Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

**Job Qualifications** :

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)

• Board certified Internal Medicine required

• NC State License preferred

• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required

• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Must be eligible for credentialing

Education Requirements:

• Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Board certified in area of specialty; MD License in healthcare specialty

• DEA;ACLS;BCLS;MD

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Prefer prior experience in Internal Medicine

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
