    Description

    UNC Internal Medicine at White Oak is looking for a part-time Internal Medicine physician (20 hours per week). The candidate must work Friday afternoon.

     

    UNC Internal Medicine at White Oak provides primary care for adults of all ages. Our providers are dedicated to preventative care and will help you achieve optimal health outcomes. Our care team is also committed to providing the highest quality of care for acute and chronic conditions.

     

    Our practice provides comprehensive healthcare using advanced medical technology and offers you a wide range of convenient onsite services.

     

    **Services Provided** :

    • Preventative healthcare

    • Physicals

    • Screening tests

    • Sick visits

    • Diabetes education

    • Nutritional counseling

    • Behavioral Health

    • Immunizations and medication management

    • Onsite laboratory

    • Management of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma

    **Practice Hours** :

    Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

    • Board certified Internal Medicine required

    • NC State License preferred

    • FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required

    Education Requirements:

    • Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

    Licensure/Certification Requirements:

    • Board certified in area of specialty; MD License in healthcare specialty

    • DEA;ACLS;BCLS;MD

    Professional Experience Requirements:

    • Prefer prior experience in Internal Medicine

    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

    • Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

    REASONING ABILITY

    High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in area of specialty.
