About the Role:
The Director of Business Resilience leads the Business Resilience program, ensuring the Bank develops and maintains a dynamic capability to successfully anticipate and respond to key risks, significant change, and disruptive events. The Director of Business Resilience serves as a senior subject matter advisor and maintains routine engagement with executives and senior leaders Bank-wide. This is a proven leader responsible for providing critically needed operational andstrategicinsight and direction, and for maintaining robust programs to reduce and manage risk to the organization.
+ Provide proactive leadership,directon, operational, and strategic planning support to the organization
+ Develop and maintain the Bank’s Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs, ensuring they have sufficient scope and scale to safeguard business operations
+ Establish and ensure the completion of key BC/DR activities such as the Business Impact Analysis, risk assessments, response and recovery plan development, and testing of systems, teams, and plans
+ Develop and lead response and recovery testing and exercises of critical functions and operations
+ Work closely with all business units to anticipate and plan for potential risk and operational disruptions and to mitigate where possible
+ Lead and direct the Bank’s Safety Program, including managing the Safety Officer and ensuring a robust safety culture and emergency response capability
+ Monitor potential threats and vulnerabilities and identify emerging risks, including climate risk, to the organization’s operations
+ Provides assessment, analysis, andleadthe response to risks as appropriate
+ Develop and direct event response and crisis management, including the development of necessary training, documentation, and coordination
+ Manage mitigation efforts such as the Bank’s insurance portfolio to further control risk
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
+ Ensure all programs can scale with the growth of the organization
+ Support the EVP, Corporate Risk Officer in the continued development of the Corporate Risk program and program activities
+ All employees are responsible for internal controls in the performance of their assigned duties. Internal control responsibilities are established in various policies, procedures, and documents, including the Code of Conduct.
+ Overseesthe administration of the Bank’s corporate insurance program.
About You:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field or equivalent.In supportingfieldof study.Required
+ 10 yearsof direct experience in BC/DR and resilience-focused programs.Required
+ 5 yearsof managerial or supervisory experience.Preferred
+ Demonstrated effective leadership abilities
+ Extensive experience in program development and implementation
+ Proven ability to influence and work across an organization
+ Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong analytical ability
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Ability to sit at a computer monitor for extended periods of time
+ Ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements
+ Ability tolift upto 15 pounds
+ Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action
+ Ability to reach, squat, bend, and manually manipulate standard office equipment.
+ Certified Business Continuity ProfessionalCertified Business Continuity Professional credentials or other professional certifications in risk, cyber, or continuity.Preferred

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is$133,000.00 - $190,000.00,and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
