    Position Summary

    The Senior Clinical Program Manager assists the Executive Director or designee to promote NYAP mission, vision, and values while providing leadership to the multi-disciplinary team with clinical, case management and a lived experience to provide all year round 24/7 Crisis Care services in the community.

     

    The Senior Clinical Program Manager will work together to advance the provision of 988 services with a focus on the growth of crisis care, mobile crisis and emergency frontline services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Senior Clinical Program Manager will perform clinical administrative duties including, but not limited to:

    + Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies

    + Lead the application of evidence-informed service modalities in crisis care and behavioral health service delivery.

    + Provide trainings to staff to align performance with Medicaid and other payor expectations.

    + Advocate on behalf of individuals in crisis, and community services systems in individual and system advocacy

    + Promote and assist the Executive Directors or designee in developing innovative, robust programs and crisis care and emergency response service delivery systems to better serve the youth and individuals in the community.

    + Promote and assist the Executive Director or designee in developing training programs related to the professional growth and development of the emergency responders coordination, crisis care professional and community stakeholders providing crisis intervention services..

    + Lead and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities on a monthly and quarterly basis.

    + Provide case consultation, clinical supervision and clinical oversight to support crisis care teams.

    + Ensure that the team’s performance is in line with fee-for-service productivity expectations.

    + Assist in the submission of grant request proposals.

    + Responsible for the fiscal outcomes of the program.

    + Provide on-call crisis intervention, crisis stabilization and mobile crisis response to the community and NYAP internal programs.

    + Present workshops and trainings at conferences on NYAP relevant programs.

    + Function fluently in usage of electronic health record system, and other required platforms as required by the grantor.

    + Assist in enhancing emergency response, and crisis care services with community partners and stakeholders.

    + Support all staff in accomplishing monthly, quarterly and annual productivity goals including Medicaid revenue projection.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Master’s degree in Social Services or related behavioral/human services.

    + Valid and unrestricted independent license (LCSW, LCPC) or equivalent) A desirable CRSS, CADC or equivalent credential in crisis care services.

    + Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in behavioral, crisis treatment services and training/supervisory services.

    + Proven experience providing emergency crisis response and mobile crisis care services.

    + Willingness to work flexible and nontraditional hours serving individual in the community.

    + Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

    + Minimum Drivers bodily liability insurance 100,00 0/ 300,000.

    + Openness to working non-traditional hours as needed

    + Strong leadership skills with an ability to motive and inspire staff
