The Marketing Coordinator will support and streamline the execution of marketing campaigns across our diverse portfolio of Nelnet Business Services brands. This role will support the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns by managing project timelines and priorities, coordinating asset creation, and ensuring brand alignment across all touchpoints. You’ll be the link between marketing managers, creative teams, freelancers, and agencies to ensure timelines are met and that every deliverable is on-brand and within budgets.
This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling multiple deadlines while enabling teams to focus on strategy and storytelling. You’ll also help evolve our creative workflows, manage brand assets in our digital asset management (DAM) system, and support data-informed decision-making that enhances marketing performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Maintain and manage projects for multi-brand marketing initiatives utilizing project management software.
+ Create and maintain detailed timelines for video production, campaign execution, and asset creation.
+ Work with project stakeholders to define scope, track budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
+ Collaborate with marketing managers to ensure coordinated campaign execution across all channels.
+ Prioritize incoming project requests based on strategic goals, available resources, and brand alignment.
+ Manage updates to brand guides and ensure all assets are housed in the DAM system.
+ Facilitate communication between creative teams, agencies, and freelance partners.
+ Help foster a culture of data-informed decisions by integrating analytics into campaign planning.
+ Assist in developing scalable, cross-functional creative workflows.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
+ At least 1 year of experience in project management, marketing operations, or campaign coordination.
COMPETENCIES – SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
+ Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
+ Strong verbal and written communication.
+ Ability to juggle multiple priorities across teams and timelines.
+ Comfort working with creative teams and understanding brand storytelling.
+ Experience in Asana or similar project management platforms preferred.
+ Analytical mindset and interest in integrating performance data into decision-making.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines simultaneously.
**Pay Range for this position - $48,000 - $55,000
