    Kelly Services is seeking a **Maintenance Technician** for a leading metal parts manufacturer in El Monte, CA.     **Location:** El Monte CA 91731

    **Schedule:** Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with overtime as required

    **Pay:** $22-35

    Position Summary

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of industrial equipment and building systems. You'll work closely with the Industrial Engineer and VP of Manufacturing to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, motors, pumps, and equipment

    + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance

    + Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical drawings

    + Clean, install, and maintain parts and machinery

    + Complete general building maintenance as needed

    + Work collaboratively with production staff to maintain efficient operations

    + Follow and promote all safety protocols and equipment usage standards

    + Participate in team meetings, 6S initiatives, and continuous improvement projects

    Requirements

    + Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

    + High school diploma or GED required (Trade/vocational school preferred)

    + Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems

    + Basic welding, plumbing, and fabrication skills

    + Ability to read/interpret technical schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)

    + Must be a US Person (required for ITAR compliance)

    + Must be able to lift and manipulate heavy equipment

    + Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills

    + Comfortable with computer use (basic Word/Excel)

    + Electrical experience (110V–480V)

    + Experience with machine upgrades and part fabrication

    + Understanding of lean manufacturing and 6S practices
