JOB SUMMARY
Step into a leadership role as an Assistant Center Manager and help drive the success of our plasma collection center. You’ll partner closely with the Center Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic initiatives that uphold our commitment to quality and ethical plasma collection. Your work will directly impact operational excellence and donor satisfaction, all within the framework of EU Good Practice Guidelines and FDA cGMP 21CFR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
+ Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
+ Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members.
+ Set clear performance expectations and deliver timely, constructive feedback.
+ Promote staff retention by cultivating a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
+ Address employee concerns and collaborate with HR and leadership as needed.
Customer & Donor Experience
+ Champion a donor-first culture by modeling professional, courteous service.
+ Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all donors and visitors.
+ Respond to donor needs and feedback to continuously improve the experience.
+ Support donor retention through exceptional service and engagement strategies.
Operational Excellence
+ Ensure compliance with KEDPLASMA SOPs and regulatory standards (FDA, EMEA, etc.).
+ Maintain efficient, GMP-compliant operations with a focus on quality and fiscal responsibility.
+ Lead special donor programs and ensure accurate testing and documentation.
+ Collaborate on staffing strategies to meet current and future donation volumes.
+ Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and daily reporting to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance & Quality
+ Monitor and document quality events, lead investigations, and implement CAPAs.
+ Ensure accurate and timely completion of logs, records, and regulatory documentation.
+ Respond to equipment and freezer alarms to protect product integrity.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred.
+ At least 1 year of supervisory experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
+ Familiarity with plasma operations, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations.
+ Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, recordkeeping).
WORKING CONDITIONS
+ Light physical activity; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and cold storage environments (-40°C).
+ Travel up to 15% to other centers or company locations.
