Summary:
In the Generative Codec Avatar Research group at XRCIA, we aspire to achieve a vision of building foundational digital human models that can generalize well to any users. The technology will empower people to build their digital representations and interact more effectively. We are looking for research engineers who are excited about designing and implementing models that are highly generalizable with large-scale data and compute . You will partner with software developers and researchers, collaborating together on the innovation necessary to build the foundations of digital human technology. At our lab, you will be exposed to facilities, algorithms, and data that are years ahead of anything else in existence today. We want people who seek both the best quality and widest reach in their work.
Required Skills:
Research Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Explore and apply technologies of digital human analysis and synthesis
2. Research applying in-the-wild data for building generalizable foundational models that represent appearance and behaviors with indistinguishable fidelity
3. Collaborate with other teams to push the research that enables mid to long-term products.
4. Build scalable and distributed training algorithms and efficient data loading for large scale deep learning.
