    Job Description:

    Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.

     

    This is an unpaid position that gives you the opportunity to use your talents, meet new people and experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in peoples lives.

    We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to serve in such areas as:

    + Guest Services - Engaging with individuals consistently, helping them find their way within the facility and to their appointments, maybe even escort them in a wheelchair.

    + Gift Shop Assistant - assisting customers with their purchases, pricing items, and using the cash register

    + Playing Music in the Hospital Lobby

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Must be at least 16 years of age

    + Able to work alone and independently

    + Have good communication and listening skills

    + Ability to follow instructions

    + Ability to work with diverse populations

    + Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing)

    + Adequate hearing and vision

    + Sensitive to patient and family situations
