We’re seeking a strategic and collaborative R&D Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the successful planning and execution of product modernization, brand integration, and compliance initiatives. This high-visibility role is essential to bringing new ideas to market, optimizing our product lineup, and enhancing the value of our brands.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As the **R&D Product Development Project Manager** , you will be at the forefront of innovation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where strategic thinking and cross-functional teamwork drive success. In this pivotal role, you will lead product development initiatives from concept through commercialization, partnering closely with scientists, engineers, marketing, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to bring new products to life.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-oriented leader with a passion for delivering excellence. You will be responsible for shaping strategic direction, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring projects align with broader business objectives. Your ability to navigate complexity, balance competing priorities, and foster strong partnerships across functions will be essential to delivering high-quality, market-ready solutions that make a measurable impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership & Execution
+ Lead complex, cross-functional projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
+ Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
+ Act as the central point of contact between R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and external partners.
+ Manage stakeholder expectations, foster alignment, and ensure consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management & Resolution
+ Identify potential risks, obstacles, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.
+ Implement proactive mitigation strategies to avoid delays and ensure project quality.
Monitoring & Reporting
+ Track and communicate project progress, milestones, and risks through dashboards and regular updates.
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure transparency and facilitate continuous improvement.
Process Optimization
+ Evaluate current practices and recommend enhancements to improve speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
+ Champion the adoption of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
+ Minimum bachelor’s degree, graduate degree is a plus. (Engineering or Science preferred).
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in R&D or Supply Chain and in the beverage, food, or consumer goods industry.
+ Strong understanding of stage-gate process and product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.
+ Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
+ Ability to travel is required
KEY COMPETENCIES
+ Expert-level project management capabilities, with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Planview.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills (PowerPoint), with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
+ Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
+ Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
+ Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
