About Grand Canyon North Rim:

Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most popular national parks in America with more than four million visitors each year. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest and Rodent Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and eliminating pest and rodent infestations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

This is a seasonal position that has employee housing available.

Season Dates: May 15th through October 15th, 2025

Job Responsibilities

+ Inspect properties to identify pest and rodent infestations.

+ Develop and implement effective pest control strategies.

+ Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively.

+ Monitor and maintain pest control equipment.

+ Educate clients on preventive measures to avoid future infestations.

+ Maintain accurate records of services provided.

+ Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

+ Certification in pest control (preferred).

+ Previous experience in pest and rodent control (preferred).

+ Strong knowledge of pest control methods and products.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

+ Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
