We obsess about creating leverage for our developers and product development process; and achieve this by having a unique combination of: technical expertise, domain experience, and product-oriented thinking.d

    About the Role

You will be the dedicated product partner for the Security organization and its initiatives across Datavant

+ **Collaborate with cross-functional teams** , including engineering, design, and product, to define and prioritize new features and requirements.

+ **Translate security and operational needs** into clear and actionable product specifications.

+ **Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap** that aligns with the company’s security goals and intersects appropriately and proactively with other product roadmaps at Datavant.

+ **Support rollout, adoption, and enablement of security programs** to ensure our products comply with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and audits.

+ **Manage the entire product lifecycle** , from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.

+ **Work closely with CISO and stakeholders** to gather feedback and iterate on the implementation & evolution of our security program

Leverage product-oriented thinking to drive success of our security program by defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) , gathering and analyzing UX feedback from internal customers, and serving as a subject matter expert for your product areas and effectively communicating the value and roadmap to stakeholders across the organization

+ **Communicate vision, strategy, and progress** to internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensure that security programs and product requirements are well understood by other product team members.

In the first 6-12 months, you will be expected to:

+ Develop a strong understanding of the security needs and challenges across the different security teams within the organization.

+ Identify opportunities for shared security solutions, tools, or features that can improve efficiency, reduce redundancy, and enhance our overall security posture.

+ Collaborate with product teams responsible for customer-facing products to identify and prioritize security enhancements and features.

+ Define and prioritize the initial set of security product initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.

+ Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineering, UX/UI, security, compliance, and other relevant stakeholders.

    About You

+ **You have 5+ years in a product management, product strategy, or engineering** with a focus on development of security products (internal or external).

+ **You are highly organized** and have strong project management skills: others are confident in a project’s outcome when they know you’re owning it.

+ **You have high bandwidth and high productivity** : others wonder where you find time to do all you do. Your secret is that you are quick to understand, formulate and respond.

+ **You write exceptional documents** , presentations, diagrams, and mockups. Your documentation leads to discussions about the content, not about what is intended.

+ **You are a great communicator** and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with anyone or any group within the company. You have the ability to explain strategies, rationales and products in terms that each audience can understand.

+ **You work hard** . You are at your best working at full speed, and you love what you do.

+ **You are motivated by getting stuff done.** You are wired to both set the big vision and to make continual steps towards that vision. Neither vision setting nor execution is satisfactory by itself to you - you want both.

+ **You are a team player.** You always put yourself in other’s positions and understand their motivations, needs, perspectives and potential points of confusion.

+ **You are proactive.** You define how the product should evolve and bias to action.
