    LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe #1 BOCES, Technology Services - 11 Linden Park

     

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Month Position – Part Time

     

    STARTING DATE:September 2, 2025

     

    SALARY RANGE: $21.50 - $28.00 per hour

     

    *Actual Salary is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

    Duties:

    + Support district teachers, substitutes, clerical staff, and administrators with navigating Smart Find Express.

    + Training district support staff on Smart Find Express.

    + Ability to accommodate flexible hours, often before or after typical school hours to assist with support for substitute coverage.

    + Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    + Civil Service eligibility as a Computer Services Liaison: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, plus EITHER:

    + Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field; OR,

    + Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree, plus one (1) year of paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience in data entry, data control, computer operations, programming, or in data processing marketing, six (6) months which shall have included customer service responsible for the resolution of customer complaints and inquiries; OR,

    + Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's degree in an information technology related field, plus two (2) years of experience as described in (B) above, six (6) months of which shall have included customer service responsible for the resolution of customer complaints and inquiries; OR,

    + Four (4) years of experience as described in (B) above, six (6) months which shall have included customer service responsible for the resolution of customer complaints and inquiries; OR,

    + Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), (C) and (D) above.

    + Experience with Smart Find Express preferred

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Excel

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through ability
