    A-Gas Rapid Recovery is the number one service provider of refrigerant recovery services for the HVAC, refrigeration, demolition, and marine industries. Projects range in size from single residential split systems to chilling systems operating on tens of thousands of pounds, to projects with thousands of units. The primary purpose of this role is to drive business development for the company to meet gas acquisition goals through our Rapid Recovery Network Services .

     

    What will you do?

     

    You will lead a team of primarily remote Territory Account Managers to ensure customer growth and increase the amount of refrigerant gas and service revenue . The Business Development Manager, Gas Sourcing holds the team accountable for setting and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets; hiring , onboarding, and training new sales staff ; and designing and implementing sales strategies, and monitoring the performance of the sales team.

     

    For the Business Development Manager of Gas Sourcing to be successful, they should possess experience in inside sales, advanced management skills, and the ability to multitask and travel if necessary. Additionally, the manager must have a proven track record of providing effective guidance and support to the sales team, ultimately leading to an increase in company sales.

    Primary Place of Work

     

    Home office with travel to A-Gas sites, customer, supplier or other sites as required .  Ideal candidate will reside in DFW, TX.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Meet budgeted goals in relation to gas acquisition and service revenue .

    + Lead a remote regional or multi-state Territory Account Manager (TAM) team by providing training, coaching, and development while being accountable for meeting or exceeding aligned goals.

    + Collaborate effectively with business partners and communicate feedback between the TAMs to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

    + Coach the team to create a strong demand focus on refrigerant gas acquisition and recovery opportunities through our network of service locations and the leadership associated with those areas.

    + Lead the TAM sales teams to meet and exceed both Rapid Exchange and service network goals for refrigerant pounds and service revenue.

    + Act as a strategic leader with the ability to proactively solve problems and make decisions based on factors contributing to the company's success. Influence others without authority and remain approachable.

    + Drive refrigerant sales results by leveraging our network of service locations and contractor connections nationwide.

    + Ensure effective communication of company processes to franchisees and follow up on action items

    + Coach and mentor direct reports to utilize available resources for independent problem-solving . This position may require approximately 25% travel or more.

     

    Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

    Essential

    + Bachelor's degree required with experience in sales, or 8 + years of relevant industry related experience in lieu of degree

    + Must have at least two years' experience managing an inside sales team

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with a sales aptitude

    + Proven experience with developing specific market strategies within an assigned region

    + Able to partner with People & Culture to communicate and ensure compliance with state and local employment laws

    + Strong computer skills needed:  SAP People, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Products

    + Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.

    + Must be available outside of normal business hours in order to support team members who are not in the same time zone

     

    Preferred

     

    + Experience in specialty chemical industry and/or HVAC

    + Previous experience managing a team of remote employees

     

    Working Conditions & Environment

     

    + Extensive travel via truck or plane, with hotel overnights as needed on traveling weeks.   Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors under various conditions.

    + Several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle when traveling to Network or Sales regions

    + Appearance  at all times  must represent the company image.

    + Exposure to the environments of customer facilities.

    + Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes with short notice activity.

    Pay for this role will be commiserate with candidate's experience. This role will be eligible for base pay plus an incentive commission plan.
