What will you do?
A day in the life of a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis at VF looks a little like this.
Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you as Finance Manager along with your team will support dual brand (Smartwool and icebreaker) FP&A activities related to planning and forecasting for revenue, margin, OPEX, profit, balance sheet, etc. The Manager of FP&A will work closely with leadership team to formulate strategic plans and build annual budgets and monthly forecast, while ensuring the same is accurately loaded to the financial consolidation system. This position is responsible for communicating the reasons behind financial performance as well as identifying new opportunities and recommendations to improve business effectiveness and efficiency.

+ Manage and handle financial planning and forecasting tools and ensure consistency and accuracy of figures submitted in the systems for P&L and balance sheet
+ Keep continuous alignment between financial & commercial to ensure alignment/balance between sales, margin and inventory targets
+ Deliver forecasting accuracy excellence and pro-actively analyze any critical trends or dynamics within the channels and the main accounts
+ Partner with budget owners and channel leaders to accurately forecast and monitor OPEX spend and timing
+ Lead the seasonal pricing sign off exercises - support the product teams to enable the right decisions on pricing and margin (i.e. seasonal target setting, different category and channel expansion impact) and keep full alignment between financial plans and brand strategic vision
+ Ensure full alignment with enterprise and brand stakeholders, highlighting brand performance evolution, potential risks and opportunities, with the goal to maximize and overachieve financial targets
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements in Financial Planning/Controlling departments of Enterprises or Corporations with multichannel and integrated organizations.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA degree preferred with specialization in Finance.
+ Well-developed consultative approach - including the ability to lead complex business initiatives and collaboratively partner at all levels.
+ Operate with curiosity with an ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges with a focus on continuous development.
+ Drive results and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.

Hiring Range** **:
$104,544.00 USD - $130,680.00 USD annually
**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
