    Positions details- Cardiac Sonographer

    + **Location:** St. Petersburg, Florida

    + **Status:** PRN

    + **Shift:** Mondays plus varied days based on need of the department (hours of operation are M-F 7a - 5p)

    + **Weekend work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    The **Cardiac Sonographer** responsibilities and skills:

    + Serves as a member of the Cardiology Team

    + Engage in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing

    + Required to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support

    + Function independently with minimal supervision.

    Requirements:

    + Required BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + Required RDCS (Sonography) - within 1 year; Or - RCS (Sonography) - within 1 year

    + Required education - Technical specialize in cardiovascular technology/ sonography/ ultrasound field

    + Highly preferred 1 year of Echocardiography experience
