Description
Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Senior System Engineer. The System Engineer shall perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering. This position will provide support to the C3C/Kessel Run (KR) division, which is within the USAF C3BM Directorate. Specifically this will be supporting the modeling and simulation group.

Responsibilities Include:
The individual shall be able to:
+ Collaborate with portfolio leadership and Program Manager in critical decision making at the tactical strategic level from a technical perspective.
+ Assess and analyze requirements.
+ Provide technical guidance and oversight.
+ Technical advocate, work with teams to solve issues and problems.
+ Facilitate coordination between contractor and teams.
+ Pairs with Program Manager regularly to ensure successful implementation of the program's technical strategy and CNS, including realignment of resources and work as necessary to remain on track.
+ Oversees and guides developers and the maintainers in support of sustaining and modernizing the suite.
+ Promote communicate to effectively problem solve.
+ Pair with Developers to remove technical blockers and resolve technical challenges.
+ Architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
+ Define engineering standards and best practices.
+ Advocate for development and implementation of modern, improved technical approaches, fostering a continuous improvement mindset with our engineering staff.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Top Secret Security Clearance.
+ Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) and 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting.
