Description:
We’re looking for an experienced cook to join our team on a per diem basis. This isn’t a prep role — we need someone confident, experienced in batch cooking, and familiar with dietary needs in a healthcare setting.
If you’ve cooked in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
+ Prepare and cook meals in large batches according to planned menus
+ Follow modified texture diets (puree, mechanical soft, etc.)
+ Ensure meals meet resident-specific dietary and nutritional needs
+ Operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
What You Bring:
+ Proven experience as a **cook** in a **skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting**
+ Familiarity with **mechanical diets** , **pureed food** , and **dietary guidelines**
+ Knowledge of **food safety and sanitation** practices
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
+ High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary training a plus)
