    This is a Sherman Associates owned Marriott International, Inc franchised location.

     

    Schedule: We are currently seeking part-time availability to include Saturdays and Sundays 8:00AM - 1:30PM.

     

    Pay: $15.00 - $15.50/hour. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position; including experience, skills, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.

    Essential Functions

    + Sorts and rinses dirty dishes, glasses, tableware and other cooking utensils and places them in racks to send through dishwasher

    + Sorts and stacks clean dishes

    + Carries clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas

    + Tests dishwasher sanitizing levels and adjusts standards based on testing results

    + Washes pots, pans and trays by hand

    + Removes trash and garbage and transports to the dumpster

    + Sets up or breaks down dishwashing area

    + Cleans and rolls/unrolls mats

    + Fills/empties soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions

    + Sweeps/mops floors

    + Assembles/disassembles dish machine

    + Wipes up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry

    + Notifies manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures

    + Does not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without washing hands first

    + Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs

    Required Experience:

    Minimum Requirements

    + Previous experience working within a kitchen environment

    + Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment

    + A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates

    + Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel

    + Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
