Onsite DOT Delivery Driver

Position: Delivery Driver for Leading Sportswear Brand

This position offers $1000 sign on bonus for new Ricoh members!

Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to facilitate the safe and efficient delivery, pick-up, and relocation of customer packages and mail for a prominent sportswear brand, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately receive, sort, and process purchase orders (POs).

Load and secure packages and mail in the delivery vehicle.

Pick up packages and mail from designated customer locations.

Deliver packages to the correct addresses.

Maintain accurate logs for delivery activities.

Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Participate in safety programs and initiatives.

Proactively communicate with customers as needed.

Provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs and directing inquiries appropriately.

Adhere to the site’s dress code and maintain a professional appearance.

Ensure all delivery paperwork is properly signed and processed.

Assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary.

Follow all accident and incident reporting guidelines.

Meet productivity and quality standards set by management.

Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and stair climbers, as required.

Lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Support training for new delivery drivers on established routes.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Clean driving record and history.

Valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.

Successful completion of a road test.

Minimum age of 20 and licensed in the state of residence.

High school diploma or equivalent education.

Valid commercial driver’s license (as required by state).

Ability to read maps and utilize GPS technology.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Physical capability to handle oversized and heavy packages.

Ability to identify at-risk behaviors and make prompt corrections.

Strong customer presentation and communication skills.

Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets for electronic tasks.

Adequate reading and math skills, with legible handwriting.

Certification in operating warehouse equipment may be required.

Working Conditions:

The role involves physical demands that require adherence to proper lifting and moving procedures to prevent injury.

Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling may be necessary to service equipment.

Diverse work assignments may require interpreting complex materials and data.

Work environments include office, warehouse, and delivery vehicle settings with appropriate lighting, ventilation, and typical noise levels.

Ability to work independently is essential.
