    The Opportunity: General Laborer

     

    Your Role: This role will work under the close direction of the Industrial Paint Manager to perform general labor tasks including preparing and painting various sheet metal products. You will be required to mask and unmask, mix paint, and perform any touchup needed for final packaging.

    Essential Functions:

    + Prepare sheet metal component parts and weldments for a quality paint finish

    + Mask components to specific dimensions using masking materials such as : masking tape, die cuts, plugs.

    + Work directly with painters during daily production

    + Mix paints to match color specifications.

    + Select paint according to customer requirements.

    + Monitor painting operations to identify flaws and correct their causes.

     

    Reports To:   Industrial Paint Manager

    Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

     

    A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $19.00-$23.00 per hour.
