Job Description
As a Heavy and Medium Duty Truck and Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a variety of truck systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Your duties will include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting thorough equipment tests. To excel in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of heavy truck and trailer components, including engines, transmissions, drivetrain systems, and brake operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with managers and team members are essential. Experience with DOT inspections, emissions control, and advanced electronic systems is preferred. This position requires physical endurance, including standing, bending, and working in various conditions to maintain and repair vehicles efficiently.

Skills and Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years experience in a mechanic shop environment Related Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self provided set of hand tools
Ability to work on multiple projects at once null
