Job Description
The Chemical Engineering Research and Development department of a Pharmaceutical client has a technician position available in their Process Research and Development organization. It is a role to support laboratory scientists through centralizing a variety of tasks needed to enable their work. The main responsibilities of the technician will be twofold. First, the individual will assist with ordering and tracking chemicals used in our larger-scale research facilities. Second, the individual will be responsible for domestic and international shipments.

Skills and Requirements
Experience working in a lab-support role for a pharmaceutical company
Ability to follow strict SOPs and comply with safety procedures in a GMP-regulated environment
Proficiency with computers and willing to learn local and web-based software packages
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Word & PowerPoint Domestic and International compound shipment experience/trade compliance experience
Experience working in Ariba null
