    Job Description

    Role Overview: The Imaging Engineer II is responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of various complex medical imaging equipment. This includes general radiographic rooms, R/F, portables, C-arms, mammography, Nuclear Medicine, CR, DR, ultrasound, bone density, and supporting equipment. The role also involves ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with inventory management, and advising on technical matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Service (40%):

    Perform inspections, maintenance, and verification procedures on imaging equipment.

     

    Repair, install, and calibrate imaging equipment.

     

    Update supervisors on repair status, inspections, and any issues.

     

    Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and service technicians.

     

    Maintain expertise through ongoing training.

     

    Assist with special projects and mentor others.

    Regulatory Compliance (25%):

    Ensure the equipment database is accurate and up-to-date.

     

    Adhere to regulatory compliances and policies.

     

    Complete and document all service activities accurately.

     

    Work with Medical Physicists to ensure radiation outputs meet regulations.

    Account Relationship Management (25%):

    Build and maintain customer relationships.

     

    Discuss equipment status with clinicians.

     

    Represent the organization positively by integrating core values.

    Inventory (10%):

    Inspect and maintain inventory, including common failure parts.

     

    Verify security analysis for new equipment.

     

    Perform incoming inspections to maintain accurate inventory records.

     

    Make inventory recommendations.

    Skills and Requirements

    1. Imaging Experience: General experience in medical imaging techniques and equipment.

    2. General Rad in Siemens, OEC, and Carestream: Familiarity with radiology equipment from these manufacturers:

     

    Siemens: Known for a wide range of medical imaging equipment, including MRI, CT, and X-ray machines.

     

    OEC: A brand under GE Healthcare, specializing in surgical imaging systems like C-arms

     

    Carestream: Provides digital imaging solutions, including X-ray systems and medical imaging software.

     

    3. GE CT Experience: Experience with CT (Computed Tomography) scanners from GE Healthcare. This is considered an added bonus, meaning it's not mandatory but would be beneficial null
