    Job Description

    A company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Models Based System Engineer (MBSE) to join their team! This MBSE will be responsible for analyzing and defining requirements, creating preliminary and detailed system architecture designs, test and evaluation, sustainment and operations, and system development for ground systems. This includes performing impact assessments for customer requests, validating and verifying documentation, and creating traceability matrices. This MBSE will also work closely with team leads across infrastructure, network, integration, logistics, cybersecurity and physical security; review cost and schedule estimates; and develop and present briefings for internal and external stakeholders.

     

    This position is onsite full-time at Schriever SFB, and this role will work standard working hours Monday-Friday. The pay range for this role is $56-70/hr, depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of systems engineering experience

     

    - 1+ year of leadership or management experience

     

    - Strong experience working with virtual machines/environments

     

    - Strong experience with requirements, architecture designs and modeling, and traceability matrices

     

    - Working knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, storage management, computer hardware

     

    - Ability to work cross-functionally and present briefings to internal/external stakeholders

     

    - Active Secret Clearance or higher - Ability to develop and edit DoDAF products

     

    - Experience with SysML and modeling tools (Cameo, Rhapsody)

    - Ability to decompose complex IT systems into manageable components null
