Job Summary and Qualifications

Supports Bariatric program staff and educators through planning, implementing, and evaluating educational efforts and learning methods (i.e., 1:1 coaching, classroom lectures, power point presentations, e-learning, etc.).

What you will do in this role:

+ You will seek to understand customers, educate customers, builds collaborative relationships.

+ You will identify issues, problems and opportunities. Gather information, interpret information, generate alternatives.

+ You will develop direction, structure, facilitate goal accomplishment.

+ You will demonstrate knowledge of key financial indicators, builds business case for actions.

What qualifications you will need:

Bachelors Degree in a healthcare related field.

+ Two to four years scrubbing/circulating experience in/with bariatric surgery, or minimum of two years previous RN clinical experience in an acute care setting or Bariatric program experience or experience working with sensitive diagnosis and procedures preferred.

+ Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or Licensed Dietitian.

+ Current BLS

+ Proficiency in Micosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong customer relations, management and planning skills.

+ Must possess strong analytical skills.

+ Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, families and the community.

+ Specific knowledge required: patient educator, support group leader/champion, assist with website forums, facilitator training for support groups, and review and summarize patient psychiatric evaluations.
