    We are seeking a motivated **Operator Oil Refinery** for our **Tacoma, WA** team who cleans and/or changes-out pump strainers and inline filters, load, unload and sample rail cars, sampling tanks and production lines, replacing PPE drums, pumps up re-use drums, empties all containment bins and to replace dirty oil absorbent pads.

    + Samples process streams and assists with tank farm operations

    + Loading, unloading and sampling of rail cars

    + Gauges all process tanks every hour

    + Completes tank transfers to control inventory

    + Obtains routine process samples to verify product quality

    + Switches and changes process filters

    + Assists other operators

    + Completes housekeeping tasks within the refinery

     

    What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?

     

    + 1+ year experience loading and unloading rail cars and tankers preferred

    + 1- 2 years in a production environment preferred

    + Forklift experience is an asset

    + Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions

    + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work at heights, stand for long periods

    + Must be able to work a rotating shift two on and off days and nights
