About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Bank ABL Portfolio Analyst.
In this role, you will:
+ Assist with financial modeling and projections, credit analysis, and industry or business risk analysis, in support of loan structuring decision making activities for mid-sized companies, large corporations, and real estate developers
+ Research, examine, and interpret customer portfolio, competitors, and related industry in order to prepare a comprehensive credit report opinion
+ Review and interpret credit policies and procedures and incorporates requirements into credit analysis, observations and lending recommendations
+ Support senior staff in credit underwriting which accounts for all risk factors and providing risk rating recommendations
+ Support senior staff to monitor and maintain an existing loan portfolio which includes ongoing interpretation and analysis of financial information to determine borrower compliance
+ Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained and are related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management - Program functional area
+ Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management Program functional area, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
+ Collaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management - Program managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers
+ Communicate with product partners and prepare materials for prospective and client presentations
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management - Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business degree
+ Portfolio, Underwriting or field exam experience with Asset Based Lending
+ Completion of Commercial Banking Financial Analyst Program
+ Commercial account relationship management experience
+ Intermediate knowledge and understanding of core banking products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury
+ Basic understanding of financial accounting
+ Foundational ability to interpret financial statements, summarize findings and structure credit transactions
+ Experience with underwriting moderately complex credit and debt structure
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Effective time management and organization skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
+ High level of initiative and accountability
+ Proactive, persistent, organized, and results oriented
+ Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
+ Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Risk Management
+ Ability to represent Wells Fargo with confidence, positive energy, and clear communication in the marketplace
+ Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal partners
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
