    ThisBoard Support Specialist position in our Building, Construction, and Real Estate Bureau is a great opportunity for a professional who's looking to provide consumer protection and public safety for all Idahoans. This position will serve as a Board Support Specialist for the Building, Construction, and Real Estate Boards.

    Example of Duties:

    + Perform various functions supporting regulatory Boards, including setting up Board meetings, generating and posting agendas, compiling and distributing agenda materials, and drafting and publishing meeting minutes

    + Tracking Board member terms and appointments

    + Developing and editing letters and other correspondence as directed

    + Making travel arrangements and processing vouchers

    + Communicating with Board members, licensees, the public and staff

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Good knowledge of:

    + Office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, and reception

    + Researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports

    Experience:

    + Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies, or services

    + Independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting

    + Coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements

    Minimum Qualifications Specialties:

    Experience:

    + Composing official correspondence, reports, and other complex documents

    + Taking minutes

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Using Microsoft Access

    + Some knowledge of state and local government organization structure
