    Job Description​

    The Opportunity:

    Saint Luke’s ENT Clinic in Kansas City is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

     

    Shift Details: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

    The Work:

    + Answers the telephone

    + Communicates messages through email or Epic

    + Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments

    + Collects patient copayments

    + Makes appointment reminder calls

    + Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate

    + Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart

    + Other duties as assigned

     

    We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
