Join us in revolutionizing the last mile delivery experience at Amazon! As a Senior Program Manager for Amazon Flex, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our delivery services. You'll collaborate across technology, operations, and marketing to innovate and optimize our processes, ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations every step of the way.
In this role, you will own strategy and initiatives within a specific business lane supported by the Flex program. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including technology, operations, and marketing. These goals must be balanced with the needs of the business and take key operational metrics such as cost and quality into consideration. Effective stakeholder management skills is needed in order to effectively balance these competing priorities and deliver effective solutions on behalf of our customers and Delivery Partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with finance, marketing, capacity management, data science, engineering, and program management on process improvement and launch initiatives
- Effectively influence stakeholders through collaboration and effective prioritization
- Make difficult resource trade-offs and align Director and VP level leadership on inputs, outputs, and priorities
- Own key performance indicators for cost, quality, and capacity while working closely with the business to understand day to day opportunities and pain points in order to implement short term and long term solves
- Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate level of quality and in line with its target date
- Develop and maintain the long-term roadmap for improving business results within the Flex program.
- Utilize data inputs and KPIs in advanced analyses to inform operational adjustments and long-term technical solutions.
- Define and create scalable processes to meet growing business demands.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment
- Executive level written and oral communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, or Microsoft Access
- Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
- Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
