Outbound Marketing connects Amazon and its subsidiaries to household customers through email, push notifications, text messages, and WhatsApp. These marketing messages help grow customer relationships by extending their onsite journey offsite and driving awareness of Amazon's products and services.

In this role, you will help build next generation products that generate automated personalized marketing messages using Gen-AI and other machine learning solutions. You will collaborate with talented software engineers, scientists, designers, and marketing specialists across the company to develop innovative marketing programs that enhance customer experience, marketer productivity and drive business growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Program Management : Plan, coordinate, and manage programs to achieve goals. Includes mitigating delivery risks, tracking progress, communicating and driving alignment among stakeholders and project teams, and delivering results.
- Stakeholder Management : Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with stakeholders to achieve goals. Includes influencing stakeholders to resolve conflicting views, adapting communications to align with stakeholder background and level of understanding, and managing stakeholder expectations and escalations.
- Deal with Ambiguity : Take initiative despite uncertainty, make decisions with limited information, and accomplish goals and objectives in novel or unstructured situations.
- System Design : Develop functional and non-functional requirements by understanding and clarifying assumptions, needs, and system dependencies, taking into account tradeoffs in terms of scalability, maintainability, extensibility, performance, and security.
- Technical Problem Solving : Develop solutions for complex technical and non-technical problems. Includes identifying root causes, understanding trade-offs and constraints, identifying reasonable alternatives, prioritizing the appropriate course of action, and monitoring solution effectiveness.
- Written Communication : Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely in writing to influence stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience in software development
- Experience in system design
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
