Description
Amazon is seeking motivated individuals for a Hardware Commodity Specialist I position at our IT Warehouse in Renton. This facility supports end users and IT offices throughout Seattle and across the U.S., with a team culture that approaches every challenge with dedication and excellence.

Key job responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Conduct ongoing inventory review and replenishment
- Maintain stock targets
- Optimize inventory levels
- Execute stock rebalancing between locations
- Monitor and maintain inventory availability metrics.
Vendor Management:
- Monitor vendor performance and delivery compliance
- Engage with vendors regarding quotes, orders, and issue resolution
- Track shipments
- Manage delivery schedules
Process Improvement & Analytics:
- Analyze business processes to identify and address gaps
- Develop and implement inventory analysis reports
- Create and maintain performance metrics
- Design efficient processes for monitoring ordering SLAs

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management
• 4+ years experience in Supply Chain, Order Management, Vendor and Fulfillment Management
• 4+ years experience working with Advanced Microsoft Excel
• 2+ year of experience in basic SQL skills
• Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
