    Job Description

As a Construction Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our Builder and Warranty Teams across our Indianapolis and Minneapolis Divisions. This behind-the-scenes leadership position is perfect for someone passionate about empowering others, enhancing performance, and driving meaningful results through mentorship and training.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Onboard and train new Builders and Warranty Service Managers, ensuring successful integration into our systems and culture

    + Provide hands-on coaching to increase confidence, self-awareness, and personal development in team members

    + Monitor and uphold construction quality, consistency, and adherence to David Weekley Homes' standards

    + Lead engaging classroom training sessions focused on construction best practices, communication, and leadership

    + Mentor and guide team members in practical, real-world settings to build expertise and confidence

    + Foster trust, motivation, and accountability within the team through regular support, feedback, and encouragement

    Qualifications

    What You Bring:

    + 5+ years experience as a Builder/Construction Manager or in a similar construction leadership role strongly preferred

    + Proven ability to lead, mentor, or coach high-performing teams

    + Deep passion for coaching, training, and investing in others' growth

    + Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly between divisions and to various communities in both cities

    + A strong communicator with excellent listening and coaching skills

    + Highly organized with great time management and follow-through
