    Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Manager of Material Planning Control 1** . This position will be located in **Odgen, UT** . This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

    What You’ll Get To Do:

    + Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.

    + Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.

    + May use multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

    This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    + Associate's Degree and 5 years of related experience, or in lieu of degree an additional 4 years of related experience

    + Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

    + 3+ years of experience working in Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP)

    + 1+ years of experience with production scheduling or Make Material Resource Planning (MRP) experience

    + 1+ year experience leading projects or cross-functional teams

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    + Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (creating formulas, burn-down/metric charts)

    + Experience in Jira

    + Experience in managing production shortages and reading Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM)/Operating Bill of Materials (OBOM)

    + Experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

    + Understanding of Common Product Life-cycle Management (CPLM)

    + Experience in property management and shipping materials/assets to suppliers

    + Transportation/shipping

    + Experience in production operations and production scheduling

     

    Salary Range: $84,300.00 - $126,500.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
