JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing advanced financial analysis and support such as financial planning and budgeting. Specific responsibilities include budgeting, financial modeling, long and short-term financings , rating agency reporting and financial reporting. Leads large complex projects for area of assignment with minimal guidance. Consistent and reliable attendance is required .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES
• Prepares and finalizes monthly forecasts and annual budgets for the organization including related summary commentary and analysis. Prepares and monitors budgets for area of assignment.
• Performs in-depth analysis of financial statements and supplemental filings to assess company's financial condition, to determine liquidity and financial needs, to identify prospective risks and to detect possible regulatory violations.
• Conducts financial forecasting through use of financial modeling systems and works with other divisions to develop various scenarios ensuring accuracy of financial modeling results.
• Assists with analysis and completion of long and short-term financings for organization.
• Analyzes data outputs, which includes actual and plan data, from financial systems for accuracy and troubleshoots variances and inaccuracies as needed.
• Prepares reports for external use by rating agencies and other entities to assess the financial health of the organization as well as monitoring compliance with reporting requirements for financial obligations.
• Administers the design, planning, testing, evaluation and daily functional support of the financial planning and analysis system and the budget system, and trains users on new and existing functionality of the systems.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Advanced budget development and analysis.
• Advanced use of E xcel and Enterprise systems. SAP experience preferred.
• Advanced ability to conduct effective research.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors degree in Finance or related field, and
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in area of assignment, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• MBA is preferred
