Arnot Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urology team in Elmira, NY. In this important role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of specialized outpatient urologic care, working closely with providers and clinical staff dedicated to patient health and comfort.

+ Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider.

+ Assist with urology-specific procedures such as catheter insertions/changes, bladder scans, uroflow testing, and post-void residuals.

+ Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, medical histories, and current medications.

+ Support general office procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection.

+ Administer oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications, immunizations, and nebulizer treatments as needed.

+ Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care and education.

+ Coordinate referrals, pre-authorizations, follow-up appointments, and communicate test results as directed.

+ Participate in care team meetings, performance improvement activities, and continuing education.

+ Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

+ Graduate of an accredited LPN program.

+ Current New York State or Pennsylvania LPN licensure (required).

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).

+ Previous experience in outpatient, urology, or specialty clinic settings (preferred).

+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

+ Commitment to providing patient-centered, high-quality care.

Physical Demands:

+ Frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the day.

+ Regular patient interaction and engagement in hands-on clinical tasks.

+ Light to moderate lifting.

Exposure Category:

Category I – Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues. Universal precautions and adherence to safety protocols are required.
