Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Salinas, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and supporting the company's financial operations. This position requires collaboration with team members and the ability to handle multiple bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage invoices, including warranty, freight, and sales tax invoices, using GP Dynamics and proprietary software.

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate workflow coordination with team members.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Record and adjust general ledger (GL) entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Generate detailed financial reports for management using Excel, providing insights for decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with local and state sales tax regulations by calculating and reporting transactions accurately.

• Collaborate with the AP hybrid team and other departments to maintain seamless financial operations.

• Support month-end close processes by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary documentation. Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar financial role.

• Proficiency in GP Dynamics, Excel, and related software.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

• Familiarity with sales tax invoicing and compliance standards.

• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Experience with payroll, QuickBooks, and month-end close processes is a plus.
