    Description

    A leading national membership organization is looking for a Member Engagement Associate to join their team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting membership initiatives, enhancing member experiences, and managing engagement programs. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and a proactive mindset to ensure the smooth execution of membership-related activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process membership renewals received through various platforms with efficiency and accuracy.

    • Conduct data integrity reviews to identify and resolve duplicate or inconsistent records.

    • Perform outreach to current and previous members to foster engagement and improve retention rates.

    • Facilitate onboarding for new members through tailored communications and support.

    • Research and identify potential new members to expand the organization's reach.

    • Assist in managing membership billing inquiries and follow-ups to ensure timely payments.

    • Maintain precise records for ambassador program participants and onboard new ambassadors.

    • Coordinate cross-departmental communications and engagement opportunities for the ambassador program.

    • Moderate and oversee a private online community for ambassadors, fostering active participation.

    • Monitor and report on program engagement metrics to track success and identify areas for improvement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree is required for consideration.

    • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a customer service or member services role.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on attention to detail.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

    • Experience working with association management systems or CRM

    • Ability to manage data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

    • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
