Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Rochester, Minnesota. This is an onsite position within a growing real estate organization. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures to support financial reporting requirements.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and Yardi to streamline financial operations.

• Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations throughout all financial activities.

• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external stakeholders.

• Monitor and improve internal accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

• Support various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed within the accounting department. Requirements • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and journal entries.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite and Yardi.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Rochester, Minnesota and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
